Our 2018 Annual Meeting Breakfast is a great way to learn about our plans for the year and connect with local business leaders and meet our Board of Directors.

Our keynote speaker is Joan McGrail,  vice president, human resources, leads New Balance?s global human resources team. In this role, Joan is responsible for the development and execution of the HR strategic plan and shorter-term initiatives which support NB?s strategic goals while preserving what is special about NB?s culture. New Balance is a unique global brand, based in Boston and is the only major sneaker brand to maintain manufacturing in the US at their factories in MA and ME.  Joan first joined New Balance in 2005 with more than 15 years of experience as a human resources professional. Her previous roles include HR positions at Helix Technology Corporation, Fidelity Investments and Hitachi Data Systems. In 2013, she assumed the role of NB vice president, human resources. Joan earned a Bachelor?s degree in management from Lesley College. In her free time, Joan enjoys being active and spending time with her three daughters.
New Balance culture is unique as we put emphasis on responsible leadership, teamwork, associate engagement and development. We drive commitment to building health and wellness in our associates and in the communities we serve. Teamwork, Integrity, and Total Customer Satisfaction are our guideposts. These core values are what we aspire to, our guiding principles, what we hope to perpetuate. Values define a culture. This creates a company culture of responsible leadership that continues to energize every associate.  It?s a culture that plays out in the investments we make in our associates?in our products?and in our communities?in flush times and in tough times.  It?s a culture that enables us to win because we are united and driven by a common purpose.
Joan will present on
