Drew's Stews Grand Opening Celebration

Drew's Stews and More is hosting a grand opening celebration on Thursday, September 9 from noon to 6pm at their new location at 489 Main Street in Reading. They will be offering free samples of two of their most popular soups: Drewish Penicillin: Love and (Ca)Noodles, which is their version of a traditional chicken noodle soup, and Move Ovah Campbell’s Tomato Soup. All are invited to come on down and check out their fab fare, not to mention the quirkiest names they can conjure up! Several local businesses are partnering with Drew's Stews to provide items for giveaways which will be announced throughout the day. Partnering businesses include Susan Gormady, Realtor: Classified Realty Group, Simply Fit & Fun, Biss Botanicals, Whitlam Books and The Chocolate Truffle. Plus a ribbon cutting with the Reading-North Reading Chamber of Commerce. Born out of owner Drew Maggiore’s “pre-pandemic mid-life career crisis,” Drew’s Stews and More is all about making mealtime easier, healthier and more fun. Executive Chef Albie Corbelli brings 30+ years of food experience to Drew’s gusto for good grub, flair with folks and penchant for puns. Together, they prepare heat-and-eat soups, side dishes and full meals for takeaway and delivery. All-natural, locally sourced ingredients take center stage, ensuring healthful, flavor-packed options for the whole family.
