DESCRIPTION:Always wanted to try ballet but weren't sure where to start? This six-week introductory session is designed specifically for teens and adults with little to no dance experience\, offering an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of ballet from the ground up. This course starts with the absolute basics.\n\n\n\nEach 75-minute class introduces essential ballet vocabulary\, foundational steps\, musicality\, and coordination through guided exercises and simple combinations. With a gradual\, structured approach\, dancers will build their skills and confidence week by week in a welcoming\, supportive environment.\n\n\n\nBy the end of the six weeks\, dancers will have a solid understanding of ballet's structure\, terminology\, and essential movements\, along with improved flexibility\, coordination\, and range of motion. Most importantly\, they'll have the foundation and confidence to take the next step in their dance journey\, whether that's joining a beginner ballet class or continuing to explore the dance styles.\n\n\n\nNo experience? No problem! Everyone starts somewhere\, and this is your chance to discover the joy of ballet in a fun\, encouraging environment. Take that first step and see what you can accomplish in just six weeks!\n\n\n\nWINTER SESSION 1:\n\nDates: Thursdays\, November 5 December 17\, 2026 (no class November 26)\n\nDuration: Six weeks\, 75 minutes per class\n\nTime: 7:15-8:30 PM\n\nCost: $180 for the full session\n\nExperience Level Required: None\n\nLocation: North Reading School of Ballet\n\nRegistration is for the full six-week session. Consistent attendance is necessary\, as classes build upon previous lessons. No refunds for missed classes. A minimum enrollment is required for the session to run.
