DESCRIPTION:Join an introductory Tai Chi class where we will focus on movements to improve balance!\n\n\n\nThursday\, October 16\, 2025 @ 6:30PM.\n\n\n\nNo experience necessary.\n\n$25 donation to attend.\n\nAll donations to support the Walk to End Hydrocephalus and the Hydrocephalus Association.\n\nDonations of $50 or higher entered for a door prize raffle.\n\nREGISTER HERE\n\n \n\n\nWe often get asked if Tai Chi can help with balance. Here are some things to know:\n\n\n	Falling is a major public health risk for older adults age 65 and older.\n	1 out of every 4 US adults age 65 and older fall every year\, and falling is a leading cause of injuries and death in this group.\n	The National Council on Aging recommends balance-focused exercise as the primary strategy for fall prevention.\n	Mind-body movement practices\, such as Tai Chi and Qi Gong are appealing for adults. They are low-impact\, safe\, and combine balance\, strength\, and flexibility training.\n	Tai Chi and QiGong offer many health benefits in addition to improved balance.
