DESCRIPTION:Calling all ghouls and goblins\, girls and boys!  Hop into your costumes and head to downtown Reading to enjoy a spooktacular late-afternoon filed with fun\, treats and candy!  Our local businesses will be open and ready to greet your trick or treat.\n\n Participating businesses will be identified with balloons outside of the their store front.  Trick or Treaters are free to start anywhere on the reoute and don't forget to stop by the Pleasant Street/Senior Center\, Reading Police Dept and Town Hall to show off those costumes and pick up some goodies.  This is a free event for the community and is open to kids up to age 13.  All children should be accompanied by an adult.  This event is rain or shine.\n\n\n\nNew this year\, businesses looking to reserve a spot on the common during this event must complete the permit found here\, and the cost is $25.
