Holiday Tree Lighting Celebrations
The Chamber hosts our Annual Holiday Tree Lighting Celebration on the Town Commons of both Reading and North Reading! Did you know the Chamber not only plans the events, but pays for the electrical work and all expenses for the celebrations? We offer these events to the community free of charge thanks to our generous sponsors.
New for North Reading: 6 Additional Trees along Haverhill Street will be illuminated! Baby Animal Petting zoo will be adjacent the Common in the Historical District, and we will have great tastings from local restaurants.
New for Reading: Live Ice Sculpture Demonstration - watch 3 large blocks of ice be transformed into a holiday sculpture right before your eyes! Fun and festive! Jenny the Juggler will dazzle children of all ages with her act which includes balloons in addition to juggling. Live music will be featured in many downtown businesses, so save the date and don't miss this Annual Tradition to Kick Off the Holiday Season.
